A. In our country Indonesia, there are many unemployed people and we experience their difficulties by listening to stories about the difficulties they are experiencing in the media. There are children who have dropped out of school for years and their families experience poverty and find it difficult to find work. These people enter our country trying to find peace and hope for a better life. We feel it is very important to do whatever we can overcome this PROBLEM to make it happen.

B. We want to offer optimism, happiness and hope to refugees living in our region by supporting at the same time Sustainable Development Goal 8 - Decent work and economic growth,IDEA works to support refugee education by creating events with this purpose.

• Step 1: Knowing what their problem is?

• Step 2: Trying to find a solution that might help them

• Step 3: Prepare a plan to implement the solutions that have been obtained

• Step 4: Carry out the plan which is like holding a counseling or seminar in building motivation for them

• Step 5: Hopefully they can develop ideas and thoughts after being given some motivation or things that can build them up to grow the economy.

DIFFICULTY: It was difficult to allocate time with all of our classmates to prepare for our outreach events, so we had to work during the weekends too. When we visited the refugee camp, it was difficult to communicate with people because most of them could not speak English. We use digital dictionaries and body language to express our intentions and feelings. 

2) Share the results of your SOS4Love

In SOS4Love Project we make a video, and I make a video about the impact of Covid-19 on the global economy. And give them not to be discouraged, adhere to existing health protocols so that the pandemic ends soon and the economy can grow back to the way it was before. 

 

3) Share your feelings and reflection on your experience throughout the SOS4Love project

I learned a lot and new things and got new knowledge. Not only that, I also get technology information when I'm working on an assignment, such as when I'm editing an assignment. I am happy and can hope that there will be interesting knowledge that I will get in the future lessons.
